Whidbey Island & Camano Island Map Watercolor Illustration
Whidbey & Camano Island
Whidbey Island and Camano Island are prominent features of the Puget Sound in Washington state.
Whidbey's unusual, twisting shape is 55 miles long, making it visible from much of the coastal cities near Seattle. It's a popular destination, from the scenic Deception Pass on the north end, Oak Harbor and the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, to the historic town of Coupeville and the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry crossing on the south end.
Camano Island, which curls toward the mainland of Skagit County, is a "drive onto" island with the 532 crossing and Camano Gateway Bridge.
